Thunderobot Unveils MIX Mini

Thunderobot, a Chinese PC manufacturer, has unveiled a one-of-a-kind Mini-PC featuring Intel 13th Gen CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060.

The company isn't widely known globally, & its products are limited to China for now. Thunderobot has released several gaming laptops in the past, with the flagship one being the Bumblebee Zero 2023, which features the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090.

The Thunderobot MIX Mini-PC packs excellent performance, especially because it includes an RTX 40 series GPU in a Mini-PC for the first time. Although other specifications, such as memory size and type, storage options, etc., have yet to be specific, we can assume that they will be plentiful given the size of the Mini-PC. For the GPU, we have the Intel 13th Gen HX lineup which will come with several options for configuration.

In terms of the design language, Thunderobot MIX Mini PC has opted for a distinctive and futuristic look with a light bar at the corner of the chassis. The promotional material reveals that the volume of the MIX Mini-PC is around 1.7L with a weight of less than 850g, which is quite impressive. The design isn't as compact as Intel's NUC lineup, judging by the Thunderobot MIX's specifications, it is appreciable.

However, the success of Thunderobot MIX Mini-PC is directly linked to how the company manages to run such Mini-PC. With the alleged specs of Intel's 13th Gen Core-HX series processor along with the inclusion of GeForce RTX 4060, it will be interesting to see how the Mini-PC handles the power delivery and thermal department.

The Thunderobot MIX is anticipated to launch on July 21st with a 6000 yuan/USD $836.59 starting price. Whether the product would launch globally is yet not certain.
